Heparan Sulfate (HS) is the active ingredient in Senté Dermal Repair Cream. It is the most biologically active of the naturally occurring glycoproteins in the skin. HS is found throughout all layers of the skin, especially in the basement membrane and on the cell surface, (Heparin, which differs from HS in disaccharide sulfation, is found only in the granules of mast cells.)
